Comment of the STORYBRIDE of the marriage proposal: “In 2015, I saw photos of a wedding in a castle in Florence planned by Elia (Moretti Events). It was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen. There and then I decided that if I was ever going to get married, then it must necessarily be in Italy. Fast forward to 2019 and Sagar and I are getting engaged. I had no doubt that this wedding would take place in the same castle in Italy and that Elia would plan it – we didn’t even look elsewhere. It turns out that in the same castle in Florence, Sagar’s Cousin also got married some time ago (what a coincidence!) but it was renovated until 2022 and we didn’t want to wait that long to get married, which was quite ironic in hindsight. We ended up finding an even better place in Rome and we booked based on photos online and without visiting the website! Italy has an abundance of wedding venues and we really chose the best one for us and our style. I remember feeling quite moved when, after 3 years of waiting and planning, I saw everything fall into place. To sit there and have dinner while the sun was setting, the candles were burning and the band was playing the songs we had carefully chosen was magical. Honestly, I had a few moments when I couldn’t believe that this was actually our wedding and not a dream. After two cancellations, I couldn’t believe that this had happened and how well it had turned out. It was one of those rare moments in life when reality exceeded expectations (and I always have very high expectations)!

Special detail # 1 Comment from the bride on the first Look with the groom: “the first look was very special. We did it for practical reasons so that we could book some photo time before the wedding and enjoy the aperitif more, but it was actually a great experience. All I remember is that I went after Sagar and I was pretty nervous. He turned around and looked very pretty. He was absolutely delighted to see me and loved my dress. I chose the 2019 dress (originally for a 2020 wedding) and this dress has been sitting in my closet for years waiting to be seen! It was a beautiful Moment for two that really excited us just before the ceremony. I would recommend everyone to take a first look, because it is such a special and devoted Moment.”
